What else do you do when the land gifts you with a multitude of cicada shells? The shell the cicada leaves behind once it has emerged anew is a powerful symbol of transformation, shedding the old, and new beginnings. I have combined their shell powder with salt, peach tree flowers, and butterfly pea flowers to make a potent tool to use for spellwork. 
Use in spell bowls, top onto candles to give them spiritual properties, or simply set it on an altar.
