A common practice amongst witches is using smoke from burning herbs to help cleanse, uplift, and protect their spaces and practices. These cedar bundles can be used for just that.
Not only is cedar native to Tennessee, it also carries the same properties that you often use sage for: protection, cleansing, and grounding. It smells wonderful and with it being in such a vast abundance here, you don't have to worry about the scarcity of the trees, unlike white sage. As long as you only take what you need, cedar has plenty to give and is a potent magick to use in your spell work.
I also always feel that there is something extra special about using a resource that's native to your region as a way to connect with the earth and what's around you, and with these being harvested right here on my farm in Dickson then hand wrapped with beeswax coated hemp, you can be sure to bring that energy to your practice too.
